EICRs & fixed-wire testing in Liverpool

An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) records the condition of an existing electrical installation following inspection and testing. It identifies observed defects and whether further investigation or remedial work is needed. We undertake EICRs for domestic and commercial properties and can quote for the resulting remedial work.

Tell us the type of property, the approximate number of circuits or distribution boards and whether it is occupied. Access to the installation and planned interruptions to the supply should be agreed before testing.

Home & workplace EV charger installation

Twin-socket pedestal EV charger installed outdoors.
One of our outdoor EV charger installations.

We install EV chargers for domestic and commercial customers. The right installation depends on the existing electrical supply, available capacity, charger position and cable route. We assess these requirements and discuss charger selection, protective devices and any load management needed.

Send a photo of your consumer unit or distribution board, the intended charger location and the approximate distance between them. We will confirm whether a site survey is needed before quoting.

Your questions, answered

Before you book.

How much does a house rewire cost?

Our guide for a full house rewire is £4,280–£8,080+, including VAT. Size, specification, access and the condition of the existing installation affect the price. Decoration is excluded; we confirm the work in a written quotation.

Do I need a new consumer unit?

That depends on the condition and suitability of the existing unit and circuits, and the work you are planning. Send us a clear photograph and details of the job. An inspection may be needed before we recommend a replacement.

What information helps with an EV charger quotation?

Send your postcode, a photo of the consumer unit, the proposed charger position and the approximate cable distance. We assess the supply, available capacity, cable route and any load management needed.

Do you take on both domestic and commercial work?

Yes. We undertake home electrical improvements as well as commercial and industrial electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and testing.

What should I send to get a quotation?

Send your postcode, a description of the work and your preferred timescale. Photos are useful for domestic jobs; drawings, specifications and a programme help us price larger projects.

Does an EICR include the cost of repairs?

The inspection and report identify the condition of the installation. Any remedial work should be agreed as a separate scope and quotation unless it has expressly been included.

Can you work around an occupied property or business?

We can discuss access, working hours and any supply interruptions before starting. The practical arrangements depend on the work required and the premises.

Will I receive electrical certification?

We provide the appropriate inspection, testing and certification for the work undertaken. The type of document depends on whether the work is a new installation, an alteration or an inspection of an existing installation.

Do you install chargers for homes and workplaces?

Yes. We assess the supply, capacity and proposed location before agreeing an EV charger installation. Share photos and your requirements so we can advise on the next step.
