Home charging

A charger suited to your parking and supply.

Tell us where you park, which vehicle you drive and where the charger would be fitted. We assess the existing supply, available capacity, protection and cable route before agreeing the installation. Where needed, we discuss load management and any additional work.

The shortest cable route is not always the most practical. We consider access, the position of your consumer unit and how the charging lead will be used day to day. Shared access, leasehold parking and landlord permissions should be raised before booking.

Domestic price guide

How much does a home charger cost?

£900–£1,190 including VAT

Our existing guide range includes charger supply, a straightforward installation, testing and certification. Longer cable routes, supply upgrades, groundworks and other additional work are quoted separately. The charger model and final scope are confirmed in your written quotation.

Workplace charging

Plan beyond the first charging point.

For offices, yards and commercial parking, send a site plan or photographs showing the bays and nearby distribution equipment. We can discuss the number of vehicles, expected use, cable containment and any future expansion.

Supply capacity, load management, access controls and planned shutdowns need to be considered together. We define the installation package and any groundworks or other specialist work before starting.

From enquiry to handover

What to send for a useful quote.

Send your postcode, a clear photo of the closed consumer unit, the proposed charger location and the approximate cable distance. Add a wider photo of the parking space and tell us about any walls, paths or other obstacles along the route.

We confirm whether a survey is needed, agree the scope and arrange the installation. On completion we test the work, provide the relevant certification and discuss the charger controls and settings.

Your questions, answered

Before you book.

Can any home have an EV charger?

Suitability depends on the electrical supply, parking arrangements, permissions and cable route. Send the details so we can assess the property before confirming an installation.

Does the guide price include the charger?

Yes. The £900–£1,190 including VAT guide covers charger supply and a straightforward home installation, testing and certification. Additional work is quoted separately.

Can you fit a charger I have already bought?

Send the make, model and installation instructions. We will confirm whether it is suitable and whether we can quote for an installation-only package.

What if my consumer unit is full?

We assess the existing arrangement and quote for any additional distribution equipment or other changes needed. A full board does not by itself establish the complete installation scope.

Do you install workplace chargers?

Yes. We discuss site capacity, vehicle use, bay locations and cable routes, then agree an installation and testing scope for your premises.
